October 23-26, 2013
Welcome back to the Fort Walton Beach area as we celebrate our 35th reunion! I would like to give a shout out to the folks who have faithfully organized our reunions over the past 35 years; Thanks for Sandy Fahl Sims, John Brown, Bob Hudgens, Teresa Clemons Balcerak, Keith Thompson, Knox Mallette, Angie Bobo Onianwa, and Dan Robeen for their superior planning skills.
Our 35th reunion looks a little different than the ones in the past. We want to have an opportunity to reach out, reconnect, and give back to our school. We have something for everyone to do, from an all Service Academy night, to career and job mentoring sessions to a brunch cruise just to socialize. The activities are planned so you’ll be able to enjoy yourself and also bring your family.
This reunion is being held during the normal “Homecoming Weekend” October 23rd – 26th. In addition a to our “give back” activities, we also want to celebrate our own Friday night lights memories and experience a great time in the new Viking stadium watching the Vikings stomp Tate. This game will be a “White Out” so come dressed and prepared to cheer.
Below are additional details about each event we have planned, as well as a contact person for questions (or volunteering to help).
Visiting Fort Walton Beach in October is the best time. The weather is great! The tourists have departed and the beaches are still beautiful. There’s no reason for you not to “come home”. Looking forward to seeing each of you!
